Overview

Un nuevo método de aplicación y un razonamiento clínico diferente comparado con otros tipos de vendajes son la base de la técnica de Taping NeuroMuscular. Este método crece en adeptos dentro del campo de la medicina y rehabilitación como una terapia coadyuvante a otros programas de tratamiento o bien como único método de tratamiento. NMTConcept es una terapia biomecánica que utiliza el estímulo de la descompresión y compresión para obtener un efecto benéfico en el sistema musculoesquelético, vascular, linfático y neurológico, focalizando la atención en el cuadro clínico. La finalidad de esta técnica innovadora es la optimización de los resultados, acortando los tiempos de la rehabilitación y mejorando sustancialmente la calidad de vida de los pacientes. Es un recurso terapéutico no invasivo y no farmacológico utilizado en distintas especialidades como ortopedia, traumatología, medicina del deporte o neurología. Su utilidad se extiende a los diferentes postoperatorios, al manejo del linfedema, etc. Con trazos claros y didácticos, la enseñanza de la técnica comienza con la anatomía topográfica y funcional: planos del cuerpo, posiciones anatómicas, inserciones musculares, funciones de los músculos, sistemas vascular, linfático y nervioso, posiciones y movimientos del cuerpo. Para ilustrar este innovador tratamiento de rehabilitación, este libro busca responder a: • ¿Cuándo se aplica el Taping NeuroMuscular? • ¿Cómo se aplica? • ¿Qué ventajas clínicas ofrece? Este manual aporta explicaciones detalladas para realizar las aplicaciones sobre los músculos más importantes del aparato locomotor. Más de 100 fichas constituyen la parte práctica que explica en detalle, con más de 800 imágenes, las normas para aplicar el taping con las técnicas de compresión y descompresión, prestando particular atención a las aplicaciones para los músculos y principales patologías. Con el fin de hacer de este libro una herramienta de trabajo adecuada, cada aplicación se explica y se ilustra paso a paso incluyendo: • notas de anatomía; • pruebas musculares; • aplicaciones clínicas; • aplicaciones combinadas. Aporta amplias explicaciones, detallando el marco teórico, junto con fotos ilustrativas describiendo paso a paso la colocación del taping e imágenes anatómicas que ofrecen al lector una guía práctica y útil en el día a día, tanto para el aprendizaje como para el perfeccionamiento de la técnica, mostrando finalmente algunos ejemplos de aplicaciones clínicas en el ámbito de la traumatología.

Ce recueil de contributions scientifiques dédiées au professeur Stéphane Doumbé-Billé est un témoignage collectif d'estime, de reconnaissance et d'affection de la part d'amis, de collègues et d'étudiants, qui ont tenu à rendre hommage à son oeuvre riche et variée d'universitaire et d'acteur généreusement investi dans diverses sphères du droit, notamment le droit de l'environnement, le droit international et les droits de la personne.
Adepte du métissage de ces disciplines, il a singulièrement contribué à la conceptualisation juridique du développement durable et à son intégration comme dimension-clé aussi bien du droit de l'environnement que des droits humains. Resté fidèle à ses racines camerounaises, Stéphane Doumbé-Billé a choisi la France pour y entreprendre sa carrière de professeur d'université, d'abord à Toulouse, puis à Limoges et Boulogne-sur-Mer, enfin à Lyon, où il a dirigé le Centre de droit international.
Au-delà de l'Hexagone, ses activités ont particulièrement rayonné au sein de la Francophonie, et spécialement dans le continent africain. Il s'y est fait le chantre et l'avocat du droit de l'environnement non seulement au plan académique, en l'enseignant dans de multiples universités - du Caire à Dakar, Hanoï, Tunis et Yaoundé, en passant par Alexandrie, Cotonou, Douala, Lomé et Ouagadougou -, mais également en tant qu'artisan et défenseur du droit sur le terrain diplomatique, en mettant son expertise au service des législateurs et négociateurs nationaux ainsi que des forums et organismes internationaux.
Les présents mélanges rassemblent les contributions de 66 auteurs provenant de pas moins de 18 pays. La diversité et l'actualité des thèmes abordés sont à l'image de la densité et de la diffusion du legs pédagogique et scientifique de leur dédicataire.
